Manti-La Sal National Forest Carbon; Emery; Grand; San Juan; Sanpete; Sevier; Utah; Mesa; Montrose, Colorado; Utah Manti-La Sal National Forest All Units

The proposed project would authorize multiple prescribed burns across the Forest every year (up to 32,000 acres annually) as well as associated actions, to restore health and resiliency to vegetation communities on the Manti-La Sal National Forest.

Location

The proposal authorizes prescribed fire on national forest system lands except for Bears Ears National Monument, designated wilderness, research natural areas, alpine areas, or sage grouse habitat.
