Flytree and Silver Meadows Area Restoration Project

Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Wasatch, Utah Uinta-Wasatch-Cache All Units

Restore wildlife and avian habitat on approximately 527-acres via timber harvest and 4818-acres via fuels treatments(Rx-fire). Timber and Fuels treatments overlap. Only prescribed fire in roadless areas, no vegetation cutting or timber in roadless.

Location

The project area is ~15 east of Francis, UT. The project area is south of State HWY 150 to the north and State HWY 35 to the south, known as Soapstone Basin.
