Pliocene Ridge Roadside Fuel Break

Implement a combination of treatments to construct fuel breaks and remove hazard trees across approximately 3,000 acres of NFS lands along 35 miles of roads throughout the YRRD to mitigate the risk of wildfire to protect nearby communities.

Location

Located east of Pike City, California along approximately 34 miles of the Pliocene Ridge, Henness Pass and Mountain House Roads and along NFS Roads 07, 12, 54, and 98.
