Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Hood River; Wasco, Oregon Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area

The purpose of this project is to improve forest health, ecosystem resilience, and wildlife habitat while also reducing the risk of impacts from wildfire to communities adjacent to NFS lands. Proposed management activities include small diameter thinning, select tree release, and prescribed fire.

Location

National Forest Systems lands within the CRGNSA in Oregon, roughly between Perham Creek and The Dalles, Oregon.
