The Silver Lake Ranger District is proposing the Stams Restoration Project to implement project activities to improve forest resiliency and sustainability, maintain and enhance habitat diversity, and reduce wildfire risk on approximately 2790 acres within the project area.

Location

The project area is located on the Silver Lake Ranger District southeast of La Pine, Oregon between the Gilchrist State Forest, and the Fort Rock Property of Ecotrust Forest Management. The legal location is T25S R11E, Sections 19-35; T26S R11E, Sections 1-11; and T26S R12E Section 6, Willamette Meridian; Klamath and Lake Counties, Oregon.
