Ochoco National Forest is proposing tree thinning and fuels reduction for this project to create economic opportunities and increase timber supplies, reduce wildfire and tree insect/disease risks, and improve firefighter safety.
Location
Lookout Mountain and Paulina Ranger Districts, Upper Trout and Bridge Creek Watersheds. The project area is in the norther region of both Districts; however, only includes a small portion of the far western extent of the Pauline District.
