National Forests in Alabama Winston, Alabama Bankhead Ranger District

Approximately 5000 acres located south of highway 278 will be proposed for treatment to restore longleaf pine woodland habitat on suitable and manageable sites or conduct treatments that places stands on the path of longleaf restoration.

Location

South of HWY 278 within Middle Clear Creek, Rockhouse Creek-Sipsey Fork and Loweer Clear Creek watersheds.
