This is to continue burning of the Chestnut Mountain Burn Unit aimed at wildlife habitat improvement. This unit was last burned in 2015/2016.
Location
This project is located in Rabun County, Georgia. This is the continuation of a long standing prescribed burning project to improve wildlife habitat and reduce fuels in the Wildland Urban Interface.
