This project proposes commercial and noncommercial harvest, herbicide application, tree planting, prescribed fire, and social road rehabilitation across 4,274 acres of National Forest System (NFS) lands.
Location
The area is roughly bounded by the following: Walnut Mountain Road on the eastern side, Laurel Fork Road on the Northern edge and the Appalachian Trail on the western and south sides.
