Special use permit for North Elizabethton Water Co-op to construct approximately 1 mile of public water distribution line along Moody Road, near Elizabethton, Tennessee.

The Sugar Mountain Project would utilize commercial timber harvest, wildlife opening enhancements, timber stand improvements, prescribed fire, and other associated actions to increase early successional habitat and improve forest health.

TVA proposes to change out one existing transmission structure, str 2 on L5942, above the Apalachia Powerhouse.

The Hardshell Church in Tellico Plains, TN is partially located on the Tellico Ranger District. The church submitted a special use application to install a septic tank to add indoor toilets to their facility. The drain field would be located on the previously disturbed area surrounding the church.

The project proposes to complete non-commercial silvicultural and wildlife activities and prescribed fire in the Miller Ridge area of the Tellico Ranger District. The work would aim to improve forest health and wildlife habitat.

The Forest Service have developed a proposal to make improvements to the campground and associated infrastructure at the Horse Creek Recreation Area. The reconfiguration would increase accessibility for recreational vehicle camping.

This project authorizes the installation of an aquatic organism passage structure on the Right Prong of Mill Creek in Carter County, Tennessee. This project will improve aquatic habitat and reduce erosion potential on NFSR 56.

Backcountry Horsemen of East Tennessee have submitted a new proposal to build a connector trail between FSR303 and FSR530211 in Carter County, TN.

The FY25 Citico Trail Management Project would conduct trail reconstruction, trail reroutes, trail closures, and complete trail removal/recontouring on Little Citico Horse Trails 3 and 4 and Tavern Branch Trail.

The Forest Service proposes to acquire: 68 acres m/l flanking the Ocoee River Gorge Portal in Polk County, TN. The parcel would be managed under the 7.A Scenic Byway Corridors RLRMP Prescription.

Project is for a late summer 2025 rally car race and potential future rally car races through December 2030. A rally car race is a timed motorsport event where vehicles do not race side by side but are timed for overall time.

The project would conduct forest restoration and improvement actions under the programmatic environmental assessment, Restoration of Dry Forest Communities. Additional actions in the project area would include road improvements and prescribed fire.

The Forest Service proposes to acquire: 29.336 acres more or less situated on the waters of Stoney Creek (USA Tract U-1634 & U-1634a in Carter County).

The Southern Appalachian Forests(Cherokee National Forest, George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, National Forests in North Carolina and Chattahoochee - Oconee National Forest seek to implement large landscape watershed resiliency efforts.
