Ketchum Resource Management Project (Project)

Chippewa National Forest Cass, Minnesota Walker Ranger District

The purpose of this review is to assess existing conditions in the project area and develop a wide range of management activities from all resource areas that would help the Chippewa National Forest meet Forest Plan objectives, Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe (LLBO) Desired Vegetation Condition.

Location

The Ketchum planning area is located in Beltrami and Cass Counties. The project is bounded to the north by the town boundary of Cass Lake, The Scenic Highway, Third River Road and the Mississippi River, to the east by Lake Winnibigoshish and Cass County 8, to the south by Leech Lake, and to the west by Oak Point Road, Lake Thirteen Road, Cass County 143, and Cass County 146. The entire project area lies within the LLBO Reservation.
