Monitoring equipment includes a fiberglass electronics enclosure, mounted rain gauge, a Temp/RH sensor and three instrumented soil profiles. The monitoring equipment functions year-round with occasional maintenance. The USGS is requesting authorization to have the equipment on site for 10 years.
