Amalga Trail Reconstruction - Sections 3 through 6

Tongass National Forest Juneau, Alaska Juneau Ranger District

Improve Amalga Trail from mile 1.45 to mile 5.56, known as sections 3 to 6. Other improvements include improving signage, and establishing several rest areas along the trail.

Location

Trailhead is outside of Juneau, Alaska, at mile 28 Glacier Highway. The trail is on land managed by the USDA Forest Service and the State of Alaska, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation.
