The Kaibab Plateau Public and Firefighter Safety Project would mitigate hazard trees on 4,359 acres in areas that burned in the 2025 Dragon Bravo and White Sage fires and would create 5,067 acres of shaded fuel breaks along key roads in areas of the Kaibab Plateau unaffected by the 2025 wildfires.
