Adamera Minerals Corp. has submitted a plan of operations proposal to conduct exploratory drilling operations. Total of 6 sites, with up to two drill holes per site. All sites are located on existing roads and road shoulders.

Stimson Lumber Company and the US Forest Service propose to enter into a land exchange for real property of equal value for approx. 60,000 acres of Stimson land, in exchange for approx. 30,000 acres of Forest Service land.

The decision for this project has been withdrawn. The project promotes forest health, improves or maintains water quality, and provides forest products to the local economy by thinning, prescribed burning, and roadside treatments.

Trough installation within the fence line that separates the Marias and Bear Trap/Cow Camp pastures. The trough would improve cattle distribution, forage and utilization for each pasture.

SBA Structures is proposing to construct a 60' monopole communications tower on Flagstaff Mountain. The base of the structure would be 27' by 27'. The tower will be constructed to extend to 160' however any extensions will require a new decision.

US Border Patrol proposing to place two radio communication equipment towers and an equipment shelter on a site just southwest of the town of Laurier, WA. The shelter would be a 10 feet square metal box and the towers would be 30 feet tall.

Realign an established fence line that was destroyed by wildfire in 2015. The fence realignment would allow for better livestock movement when rotating between pastures, with the fence installation providing a completely enclosed pasture.

Access road (Forest Road 2220270) improvements, placement of CXT, and refurbishment of the historic Salmo Lookout.

This project would brush out and place tread in ~1,455 feet of an overgrown existing road prism (Road 3300230) on the south end, construct about 1,612 feet of new trail, and then placing ~1,500 feet of tread and brushing out an existing road prism.

Replacing Sullivan Picnic Shelter (Sullivan Day Use Area), performing water system design and upgrades at developed campgrounds in Pend Oreille County (Pioneer Park, South Skookum, Bead Lake, Panhandle, Edgewater and Browns Lake.

Ferry County PUD #1 proposes to construct a motorized access trail within the San Poil Power line ROW authorized under permit. The trail access would improve service reliability, maintenance, worker safety, veg. management, and fire suppression.

Install 38 miles of fiber optic cable and conduit within Hwy 20 and county road rights of way in Pend Oreille County, WA to provide high speed phone and internet services to rural RTI customers. Seven miles is on NFS land, 31 on other ownership

Hand thinning and piling of small conifers in overstocked stands previously harvested or regenerated. Non-commercial thinning will reduce young conifer density, reduce ladder-fuels, increase residual stem growth and increase stand health.

Rural Telephone Inc. (RTI) proposes to install 6.66 miles of fiber optic cable and conduit (FO) on National Forest System (NFS) lands within state highway and County Road right of ways. The new FO will be amended to their existing permit.

The Land and Resource Management Plan for the Colville NF is being revised as required by the National Forest Management Act. The purpose is develop updated management direction for the forest, currently managed under the 1988 forest plan.

Create adequate access, including access for both public and administrative needs, into the South Fork Boulder Road area while minimizing the effects to aquatic resources like water quality and fish habitat.

Upgrade three culverts with open bottom aquatic organism passage (AOP) culverts. The culverts being replaced are where the 2054 road crosses Ninemile Creek, the 2054-200 road crosses South Fork Ninemile Creek and the 5320 road crosses Scatter Creek

The project would apply restoration treatments across the Harvey Creek subwatershed to improve watershed and aquatic function, fish habitat, fish populations, and increase grizzly bear core habitat.

Upgrade one culvert on South Boulder Creek, 3 in the Sheep Creek and Deep Creek Areas, 4 culverts in the South Fork Sherman area, and 4 in the Barnaby drainage. A flumed section of Ledgerwood Creek would also be restored below a culvert.

At Pioneer Park, Panhandle Park and Edgewater Campgrounds maintain safety and river access to several areas of the recreation sites.

The project proposed replacement of 3 culverts in CCA and 3 culverts in Mill Creeks. The culverts are presently barriers to upstream fish passage. The culverts are located either on FS roads or cost share roads with Stimson Lumber Co and/or WDNR.

Construct approximately 1.5 miles of drift fence along the right-of-way on the north side of Highway 20 in the Tiger Hill allotment to decrease cattle drifting onto the road and onto an adjacent allotment.

Stockpile Removal

Two plantations totalling approx. 120 acres are overstocked and would be thinned. Stands are approx. 34 years-old, and trees range from 6 to 12 inches in diameter.

Two areas (less than 20 acres each) would have conifers less than 21" dbh removed to release existing aspen and stimulate sprouting.
