Shasta-Trinity National Forest — Project Detail

Bureau of Reclamation is proposing to increase height of Shasta Dam. Forest Service (FS) has jurisdiction over NFS lands w/in the NRA. Connected actions will require authorization by permit or other suitable instrument issued by the FS to the Bureau.

This project would decrease stand densities, reduce the risk of severe wildfire, and diversify the composition and structural complexity of pine plantations and natural pine-dominated, black oak-conifer woodland, and mixed conifer stands.

The FS will work with the Watershed Center of Hayfork, CA to restore floodplain function, raise the groundwater table, increase streamflow, decrease water temperatures, and decrease erosion and sedimentation, ultimately improving wildlife habitat.

The purpose of the Project is to increase the effectiveness of fuel breaks and fuel reduction projects across ownership boundaries, to improve forest health and function, and to improve ingress and egress for firefighters and the public.

To conduct a limited scale exploration and high bench sampling of existing remnant tailing piles on National Forest System lands under the General Mining Laws.

A mining operations proposal to sample for valuable mineral deposits on Homestake Consolidated Mine. Approximately 3,000 cubic yards of material are proposed to be excavated and processed onsite by a trommel wash plant system. Reclamation will occur.

Render inoperable unauthorized water diversion structures on East Weaver Creek.

The proposed action is to amend Pacific Wholesale Materials, Inc.'s current Communication Use Lease to allow them to expand their communications site on Ironside Mountain. This action also authorizes a new lease for a new 20-yr term.

Issue multiple permits authorizing domestic use of water system.

Authorize the use and occupancy of National Forest System (NFS) lands for deployment of DWR's Juvenile Salmonid Collection System in the McCloud River Arm by issuing a 5-year special use permit to the California Department of Water Resources (DWR).

The Forest Service plans to install eight new 1,800-gallon wildlife guzzlers and upgrade one 500-gallon wildlife guzzler to a 1,800-gallon wildlife guzzler.

Placement of an AlertWildfire detection camera on the existing American Tower Corporation tower and placement of an equipment cabinet on the ground next to the Verizon cellular shelter. Wiring between tower and cabinet to operate the camera.

The Trinity Knolls Mutual Water Company (TKMWC) proposes to upgrade the existing water distribution system within their service area located in Trinity Center, California.

Issuance of a special use authorization to City of Shasta Lake for occupancy & use of NFS lands at SE corner of Lake Blvd & Kennett Rd (entrance to Centimudi Boat Launching Facility) for construction of a 2.45 million gallon aboveground water tank

Authorize the use and occupancy of National Forest System lands for PG&E's Antler Projects-Phase: 1.1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 by issuing an amendment to PG&E's existing special use authorization SHF02262019 ("Master Permit").

The bridge on the North Fork Coffee Creek Trail was burned during the 2021 River Fire. This project proposes to replace the existing bridge to allow safe passage for hikers.

Authorize installation of storm water filtration system, including a 3 feet deep x 5 feet wide x 36 feet long filtration basin, at Bridge Bay Resort in location where storm water discharges to Shasta Lake from the south boat ramp paved parking lot.

Install communications equipment on Ironside Mountain to provide high speed internet to Burnt Ranch Elementary School and private residences in the surrounding areas.

Issuance of 5 year permits for six recreation events that occur annually on the Shasta-McCloud Management Unit. These include 2 running events, 2 bike events, 1 black powder rendezvous event and 1 archery event.

Thinning, including commercial removal of trees, and/or fuels reduction in developed recreation sites, dispersed camping areas, forested patches between sites & the area directly north of Trinity Center Airport (airport approach surface).

Extend the existing Forest Trail 08W36 by constructing approximately 2 miles of non-motorized trail from the western termini of trail 08W36 near the Pinewood Cove Resort boat launch to Highway 3 near Stuart Fork bridge.

Restoration activities on approximately 3,000 acres in order to treat the long-term impacts from the August Complex Fire. Activities may include fuels reduction, reforestation, road maintenance, and restoring priority watershed conditions.

Digital Path Inc. (as a contractor to the University of California, San Diego) has submitted a Special Uses Application to install fire detection cameras at six locations on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest as part of the ALERTCalifornia program.

Remove two restroom buildings at Oak Grove Campground, which has been closed for many years. Concrete foundations & septic systems would be left in place. Heavy equipment use on improved surfaces only.

Restore intensely burned areas: prepare sites (e.g. masticate, pile/burn) and plant. Post-planting stand tending included.

The Forest plans to replace and upgrade seven Reiff brand wildlife guzzlers with upgraded Boss Tank brand guzzlers. The current 500-gallon Reiff guzzlers typically have no water by late summer when it is most needed by wildlife.

Remediation/sealing of two abandoned vertical mine shafts utilizing a common remediation technique known as a Polyurethane Foam (PUF) closure.

Buffer along primary and secondary access roads for the community of Hyampom, CA. Strategic fuelbreaks and supporting landscape level treatments.

Hazard tree felling and removal is proposed to reduce public safety hazards along portions of certain roads, trails and facilities within nine national forests. We expect to complete three zone-level analyses and nine decisions.

PG&E is proposing an amendment to the existing PG&E Master Special Use Permit (SUP) to permit the installation and operation of approximately 7.9 miles of new underground electric distribution lines.

Fuel breaks are more effective at reducing the wildfire risks to communities. This Project is designed to connect fuel break opportunities across multiple ownerships.

Construction of a new passive reflector with access road of FR 32N02 on Barker Mountain ridgeline to bounce cellular signal from a new AT&T cellular tower in Hayfork, CA to an existing communication site. Will improve ATT cellular coverage in Hayfork

Restore intensely burned areas: prepare sites (e.g. masticate, pile & burn, salvage) & reforest. Post-planting stand tending included. ~2,600 acres of burned plantations/areas have been identified for planting.

Install fiber optic cable near California State Route 299 from Eureka to Cottonwood on multiple land ownerships. Lead Agency: CA Public Utilities Commission. Shasta-Trinity National Forest (STNF) will decide whether to permit activities on STNF lands

PG&E has submitted an application to renew their Communications Use Lease on Plummer Peak, PG&E has been permitted to utilize this site since 1952 and is authorized to occupy a 30' by 40' area. No changes to the lease are proposed or requested.

The California Dept. of Water Resources will install a hydrometeorological station at the Coffee Creek Ranger Station.

Reduction of fuels build up on National Forest System lands in and around communities and infrastructure, and protection of municipal watersheds through fuels reduction. Includes a non-significant Forest Plan amendment.

Post- fire restoration activities in order to treat the long-term impacts from the 2021 McFarland Fire. Activities include site preparation (mastication, salvage, machine piling/burning, etc.) and reforestation.

Restore intensely burned areas: prepare sites (e.g. masticate, salvage, pile/burn) & plant. Post-planting stand tending included. Project modified to ~250 acres in Matrix. Remaining burned areas to be evaluated separately in spring.

Approximately 11 acres of thinning, pile burning and chipping in FS lands adjacent to the community of Carrville.

Improve salmon habitat by placing whole conifer trees in the main stem of the South Fork Trinity River in 32 locations.

Along with their Backbone Road Fuel Break Project, CalFire would also reduce fuels on NFS lands along approximately three miles of Backbone Road (34N02). The area treated would extend 100 feet from centerline on both sides of the road.

Issue special use permit to DWR for Juvenile Salmonid Collection System (JSCS) in McCloud Arm of Shasta Lk. JSCS consists of debris boom, guidance net, fish trap & temperature curtain. Install temporary communication equipment at Hirz Mt Lookout.

Installation of four new wooden poles with weather collection equipment (temp, wind, humidity), solar panel and antenna for transmission of weather information in support of PG&E powerlines. Selected sites are co-located with Forest Service lookouts.

Establish shaded fuelbreak along approximately 1.25 miles on 200 feet on each side of Forest Service Road 41N31 (31 road). The fuelbreak will consist of approximately 61.5 acres and will involve thinning, mastication and piling and burning of slash.

Mechanical and prescribed fire fuels reduction within ~12,000 acres in the Lower McCloud and Lower Squaw Valley Creek watersheds.

Develop and implement a pilot project that tests the three priorities of the Trinity County Collaborative; Social Acceptance, Ecological Sustainably, and Economic Sustainability.

Reauthorize use & occupancy of NFS lands for Shasta Marina at Packers Bay by issuing a new 20-year special use permit. The new permit will consolidate two permits covering two locations into one permit covering both locations.

Plantation thinning to reduce tree densities and ladder fuels.

Sediment source reductions through road and trail management in the Parks and Eddy Creek watersheds. Includes road maintenance, reconstruction, decommissioning and transportation system management. Trailhead and trail reconstruction and realignment.

The goals of the project are to move Burnt Ranch toward becoming a fire resilient community and to promote & maintain late successional conditions within the Corral Late Successional Reserve. Activities will focus on the Wildland Urban Interface.

The Mt. Shasta Nordic Center has requested an amendment to their permit to add a lodge facility and associated amenities (i.e. propane tank, foundation, solar panels), vault toilet, interpretive signs and concreate pathways between lodge and toilet.

The Mount Shasta Nordic Ski Organization has applied for a 10 year special use permit re-authorizing the operation and maintenance of the Mount Shasta Nordic Center.

Issuance of a special use authorization to Caltrans for occupancy and use of approximately 3.3 acres of NFS lands to implement their maintenance & repair project on the Stuart Fork Bridge on Hwy 3. Work will take place any time from 8/7/22-12/31/25.

Construction, use and maintenance of a new cellular site on an existing Forest Service radio tower located on the Mt. Shasta Ranger District compound. Use of existing equipment shelter, placement of new 150 gallon 30kW generator for backup power.

Remove fire-damaged fiberglass guzzlers and replace with a new crosslinked-polyethylene Boss guzzlers at exiting sites. The fiberglass guzzlers are not functional and cannot be repaired after the 2021 Lava Fire.

Thinning/other silvicultural and fuels treatments of approximately 5600 acres of forested stands within the Algoma Late Successional Reserve. Application of a borax fungicide to cut stumps 14 inches and larger. Some new road construction.

Approximately 3000 acres of commercial thinning, Green Tree Retention and fuels reduction within the urban interface of the town of McCloud and the Mt. Shasta Forest Subdivision, removing encroaching conifers from meadows and application of Borax.

The USFS has proposed to conduct upgrades and modernization of the Redding Air Attack Base/Northern California Service Center (RAAB or NCSC).

Salvage of 250 acres of fire damaged/killed trees & reforestation in fire footprint (~357 acres) of intensely burned stands to expedite a functioning forested landscape. Manual/mechanical site preparation/post-planting stand tending is included.

Fire restoration activities were proposed on approximately 4,500 acres in the August Complex Fire boundary. An Emergency Situation Determination was authorized on August 13, 2021 and a decision was signed on September 5, 2021.

Re-authorization of expired Mt. Shasta Nordic Center permit with no changes to services or facilities. Permit term will be maximum of 40 years and issued to the Siskiyou Outdoor Recreation Alliance.

Road-related watershed improvements, including road decommissioning, in the Soldier Creek Watershed on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest

Vegetation management project designed to respond to concerns expressed by stakeholders, the Trinity County Community Wildfire Protection Plan, and members of the general public regarding fire hazard/risk, high fuel loading and general forest health.

Construction of one additional compacted gravel surfaced parking lot (400' x 350') adjacent to existing parking areas and within the existing permit boundary to increase parking capacity to ~1,800 vehicles. Reroute of access road to maintenance yard.

Re-introduce fire onto the landscape within the Trinity Alps Wilderness by implementing prescribed fire(s)

Approximately 14 acres of thinning, pile burning and chipping adjacent to the Guy Covington and Lake Forest Estates communities.

The proponents are asking for an approved mining plan of operations for an existing mine adit as well as approval to maintain approximately 1/2 mile of road.

Reauthorization of Special Use Permit to McCloud Railway Company for use of approximately 3 acres of NFS lands, in three separate parcels, for use and maintenance of railroad ROW and support facilities. Permit has expired and ownership has changed.

Reauthorization of existing PG&E Communication Site Lease for Hogback Mountain and passive reflector near Pit 7 Dam. Installation of new weather station at Hogback Site on single wooden pole.

The Shasta-Trinity National Forest proposes to construct 1 mile of non-motorized trail near Ewing Reservoir which will connect with 10 miles of trail to be constructed on adjacent BLM-managed lands.

Reauthorization of DWR's Special Use Permit for ~28 separate sites that include snow survey courses, rain gauges, snow pillows, cabins on the Shasta-Trinity and Klamath National Forests. Annual measurement predicts State snow pack and potential runof

To relocate the trails in the Tangle Blue Creek watershed in order to minimize negative effects on adjacent resources.

The US Bureau of Reclamation is proposing river restoration activities on lands managed by the Forest Service and BLM. Project will improve channel function and provide quality fish habitat. The Forest service will authorize activities on NFS lands.

Reduce fuel accumulation and reintroduce fire as an ecological process, and address the recreational needs within the Weaverville Community Forest.

Revitalize aspen & oak; restore meadow & stream; improve resilience of overly dense plantations & natural stands; & restore the role of fire to maintain conditions into the future. Roads will be maintained to facilitate project activities.

Thin and remove trees and other vegetation on approximately 260 acres to combat the western pine beetle infestation and to maintain the recreation complex in a safe and usable condition.

Reauthorization of existing warehouse and parking area for sand/cinder storage. Site is ~3.25 acres and includes a 200' access road from Highway 89 and a 40' x 80' metal shed for cinder storage. Site includes turnaround and detention basin for runoff

This project will focus on treatments that will enhance forest resiliency to insect and disease issues within the Dubakella watershed. Phase 1 of the project was approved on 12-19-19. Phase 2 (final phase) will be approved in mid-2020

Remove conifer trees that are overtopping and competing with aspen on approximately 140 acres of National Forest lands

This project proposes to issue a new 5-year special-use recreation event permit to replace an expired permit.

Jefferson State Broadband is proposing to attach 2 antennas to the existing Forest Service tower on McFarland Ridge to provide internet service to Platina, CA and surrounding community. The Forest is proposing to issue a 30-year special use permit.

Caltrans proposes to improve drainage facilities along Highway 3. Five of the worksites are outside Caltrans' easement on NFS lands. The Forest proposes to issue Caltrans a special use authorization for access to & improvement work at the 5 sites.

Re-authorize twelve (6 at each site) communication use authorizations at Sugarloaf Mt. and Bass Mt. Electronic Sites for terms of 30 years. No changes will be made to the currently authorized operations or facilities.

Reauthorization of existing permit authorizing 12 GPS sites located at various locations across the Forest. The sites include small antennas, GPS equipment and solar panels and measure movement of the tectonic plates relative to each other.

AT&T is proposing to install fiber optic cable from Lewiston, Ca. to Weaverville, Ca. Portions of the cable will be on existing Trinity Public Utilities District (TPUD) power poles, while other portions will be buried within existing road prisms.

The US Bureau of Reclamation is proposing channel restoration activities on BLM and Forest Service/NFS Lands along the Trinity River in order to provide suitable habitat for anadromous fish. The Forest Service will authorize activities on NFS lands.

A special use permit has been issued to Caltrans for ongoing actions which qualify as emergency responses under 36 CFR 220.4(b)(1).

Construct ~39 miles of new trails; rehabilitate/restore unauthorized, user-created trails; develop four new trailheads; construct an additional camping loop within McBride Springs Campground. A new webpage has been created for implementation

The decision to be made is whether or not to authorize grazing and implement allotment management plans on the Bartle Allotment, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and standards & guidelines.

This proposal is purely administrative and involved no changes to the existing fiber optic cable.

Reauthorize the Special Use Permit to the City of Dunsmuir for use and maintenance of 2.5 acres of NFS lands which include Pond 5; part of the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. New approval for a USGS staff gauge to monitor Sacramento River flow.

SVRCD proposes to install two Hydrological Data Acquisition Systems that will collect ground water data using an automated system that includes a buried snow pillow connected to a small equipment shelter and 30' tower with antennas and solar panels.

Sierra Pacific Industries has requested a road special use permit to construct approximately 165 feet of single lane, native surface road to access a weather station site on their lands from the adjacent NFS land near the Black Fox Lookout.

Issuance of a new 20-year special use permit (SUP) to replace existing SUP for continued operation & management of Bridge Bay Resort & Digger Bay Marina. No changes will be made to the currently authorized operations or facilities.

Caltrans requested to rehab potable water system & remove non-potable water system including improvements on NFS lands. FS proposes to authorized rehab work & reauthorize water system by issuing a new special use permit to replace existing permit.

Issuance of a new 20-year special use permit (SUP) to replace the existing SUP for continued operation and management of Lakeshore Inn and RV. No changes will be made to the currently authorized operations or facilities.

Private landowner access request via existing level 1 (closed) Forest Service road(32N03). Road is 12 feet in width and 2,110 feet in length.

Issuance a new 20-year special use permit (SUP) to replace existing SUP for continued operation and management of Shasta Lake RV Resort & Campground. No changes will be made to the currently authorized operations or facilities.

Hunter Communications has proposed to install approx. 3 miles of new fiber optic line (buried or attached to existing poles) across National Forest land in Mt. Shasta and McCloud along existing roads and road easements or powerlines.

This project will address the current maintenance needs of Forest Service Roads associated with the Carr and Delta fires. Maintenance activities will address the road surface, drainage structures, closure barriers, signs, and hazard trees.

Reauthorization of existing Communication Lease to COBI for existing equipment at Mt. Bradley Communication Site.

Caltrans has proposed the construction and maintenance of an equipment shelter and steel lattice tower for communication purposes at Mt. Bradley and upgrade of weather station and CCTV equipment at Snowman's Hill to improve Transportation Safety.

Issue a 5-year recreation event special use authorization to the Trinity Trail Alliance for the LaGrange Classic Bike Event.

The purpose of the project is to repair stream crossings on two roads that are sources of sediment in the Headwaters - South Fork Trinity River Drainage, which currently exceeds water quality standards for sedimentation.

Approve continued operation, maintenance and use of existing distribution and transmission powerlines and infrastructure for Pacific Gas and Electric located within designated corridors on the Shasta Trinity National Forest.

The project will treat vegetation in the vicinity of Hwy 89 between I-5 and Cattle Camp Campground. Project design will include: public safety improvement, forest health, fire restoration, construction of infrastructure, wildlife habitat enhancement

To reduce fuel loadings and vegetation on National Forest System lands adjacent to private property in the East Weaver Creek Road area, north of Weaverville,California.

PG&E has requested a special use permit for the reconstruction, use, and maintenance of a non-system road (U1S29) to access three towers on the Bridgeville-Cottonwood transmission line. A temporary equipment staging area is also requested.

Private landowner requested access his private property via Forest Service road 37N19YD. This road will require some vegetation removal, reshaping/blading, & drainage maintenance. A Forest Service specified gate is proposed at the intersection.

Issuance of a new 20-year special use permit (SUP) to replace existing SUP for continued operation and management of Salt Creek Resort. No changes will be made to the currently authorized operations or facilities.

Reauthorization of 13.26 miles and 13.9 acres of Citizens Utility (dba Frontier Communications) on NFS lands in Shasta and Siskiyou Counties. Line is located in a 10' wide right of way along existing FS roads and/or co-located on Pacific Power poles.

Upgrade existing communications equipment to 4G capability and issue a new authorization to replace existing authorization.

Thin trees in plantations, then underburn in plantations and adjacent areas. Currently 80% of plantation stands are in or above "zone of imminent mortality." Project is within WUI and LSR.

Fuel reduction treatments are proposed on a 40-acre parcel. Proposed activities may include but are not limited to hand thinning, pruning, piling, and burning. Trinity County Waterworks has a special use permit on approximately 10 acres of the parcel

Proposal for construction, use and maintenance of approximately 500 feet of single lane, graveled surface private road with gate to access private land near Castle Lake. Road would originate from the paved County Road and continue onto private land.

Exchange 2 parcels of National Forest System lands next to an active limestone mine (Gray Rocks mine) operated by Lehigh for a private inholding of land along the McCloud River Arm of Shasta Lake.

The project proposes to increase & improve the habitat & ecological conditions in the South Fork Trinity River for fish by strategically placing whole trees from pvt lands into the river, over a 5.2 mile stretch utilizing helicopter and cable systems

Trinity County submitted a request to expand the footprint of the current solar panel area at Pickett Peak cellular site by 25'x100'. The expansion will increase power supply, decrease outages, & reduce the amount of time backup generators operate.

Thinning and fuels reduction to enhance and protect late successional habitat.

Oversnow trail grooming, snowplowing, and snowmobile facility maintenance activities associated with the Pilgrim Creek Snowmobile Park.

Thin and Release of existing plantations in the Sims fire area and reforestation with site preparation of areas that haven't had natural tree regeneration.

In order to conduct river restoration activities, it is necessary to determine the underlying geology and groundwater flow by digging test pits in the Trinity River floodplain.

Cal-Ore Communications is installing fiber optic lines to multiple customers in South Siskiyou County and has requested a permit to cross a small parcel of NFS lands as part of the larger installation.

Thin, masticate, prescribed burn plantations & construct fuelbreak to increase resilience to insects & disease (and fire). Maintain existing roads; use unauthorized roads temporarily, then decommission. Collaboration with public will be done.

The Shasta-Trinity National Forest proposes to reauthorize the use of maintenance support facilities located on National Forest System lands and associated with the Mount Shasta Board and Ski Park.

Removal of non-native Scotch, French & Spanish brooms using an integrated approach on about 112 acres of National Forest System lands. A combination of treatments, including herbicide, manual cutting, hand pulling & prescribed fire will be used.

Authorize TPUD new use of NFS lands for a radio repeater and antenna.

Installation of a fiber optic cable onto existing phone poles. Project will require addition of up to 15 anchors onto the existing poles to support the additional weight of the fiber. All construction by hand or bucket truck from existing roadways.

Treatments would occur within a buffer along roads that were burned in the 2015 wildfires. Treatments would include mitigating roadside hazard trees, reducing hazardous fuel loading, and salvage of forest products.

Issuance of 5-year special use authorizations for recurring lake-based recreational fishing events(e.g., fishing tournaments, fishing derbies). Activities take place primarily on the lake water and have limited land-based activities.

The Trinity County Resource Conservation District is proposing a project on West Weaver Creek (a tributary to the Trinity River), which includes channel and floodplain rehabilitation.

Re-authorization of an expired permit for two 20'x16' passive reflectors on metal frames on Tamarack Mountain. These provide communication between McCloud Dam and Pit 3 Powerhouse. Use of access on 38N11, 37N48 and 37N15Y.

Proposal to reauthorize McCloud Community Service District use and maintenance of the existing spring house and waterline serving the community of McCloud. Permit includes single lane bridge with gate and use of existing Forest System roads.

Reauthorize the buried MCSD sewer line which serves the USFS District Office and the private parcel of land located south of the District Office. Permit is 1.42 acres and includes 681' of 8" main line, 32' of 8" lateral line, and 30' of 6" line.

Reauthorization of Special Use Permit for buried fiber optic line between Big Bend and Mt. Shasta, California. No changes to permit area or equipment are proposed.

Reauthorize special use permit for spring box and 1,500 feet of 1.5" PVC waterline to private residence. Holder is in compliance with State Water License # 009682 from State Water Board. No changes to the permit or use are requested or proposed.

USGS has requested reauthorization of its existing SU permit for 11 seismic stations, authorization to construct 2 new stations, and to relocate an existing station. Stations are located across the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.

Thin & prescribed burn plantations to increase resilience to insects & disease. Radial thin & group selects may be proposed,& existing roads maintained. Temporary roads may be constructed (then decommissioned). Collaboration with public will be done.

Re-authorize and amend expired Outfitter & Guide Permits for: walk and wade fly fishing, powerboat/drift boat fishing, boat tours, wakeboard/waterskiing, youth camp activities, and backpacking on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.

MCI Telecommunications has requested to reauthorize their expired permits MTS821 and SLK401202 under a single permit. Both permits authorize the occupancy of a fiber optic ground line that is strung on Pacific Power's powerline.

The Trinity County Office of Education has requested to add a microwave relay structure to improve the WiFi service for Burnt Ranch school. This will be permitted until the Digital 299 fiber optic project is complete (aprox. 5 years)

Re-authorize continued use of NFS lands for the waterline & entrance sign at Cedar Stock Resort/Marina, the waterline & sign at Pinewood Cove Resort, and the sign at Lakeview Terrace. There are no changes in authorized facilities.

The Forest proposes to reauthorize PG&E's communication use lease for two passive reflectors that provide radio communication between the Pit 3 powerhouse and McCloud Dam for operation of hydroelectric facilities of FERC License #2106 project.

Reestablishment of forest vegetation in plantations (approx. 13,700 ac) and natural stands (approx. 4,500 ac) impacted by wildfire in 2015. Site preparation including mitigation of hazardous vegetation would occur in plantations.
